Comments on the paper “Making the best of a bad job”, by Bion
Abstract
The encounter with the text of Bion in question, as with his other works, usually generates a kind of ...storm, ... turbulence, not only intellectual, but also emotional. At least that's how it is for me. Often our first reaction is to put it aside, to dwell on only certain interesting passages, or to idealize it, imagining that it has discovered the treasure map, the magic solution to all current psychoanalytic controversies.
