O autor segue a reflexão iniciada em seu relatório para o 68º Congresso dos Psicanalistas de Língua Francesa intitulado Construção terminável, construção interminável. Depois de retomar suas problemáticas, o autor insiste no lugar central ocupado pelo medo do colapso, descrito por Winnicott, na organização psicossomática do ser humano. Em seguida, mostra o papel desempenhado pela presença sensível do analista no desenvolvimento da atividade de pensamento e do sentimento de identidade. Um material clínico sustenta sua tese (AU)
